With that in mind, this project provides universal bus stop accessibility by bringing all current bus stops to full Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance. This project also seeks to enhance customer comfort by adding bus stop amenities at every bus stop. Greenways Master Plan Connectivity  Project PDF Overview The Greenways System already provides some of the most beautiful and treasured recreational opportunities in the area, and is increasingly making our region a tourism destination. This project would provide funding to help complete the Greenways Master Plan. Completion of the Greenways Master Plan would increase public access to these lands while preserving the environmental integrity of wetlands and other protected features. The total length of all proposed trails is approximately 139 miles (78 miles within unincorporated Leon County and 61 miles within the City of Tallahassee). N Facilitates public access to approximately 7,460 acres of conservation lands purchased since 1993 under the Greenways Program. N Adds approximately 139 miles of new trails and expansion of existing trails in support of the approved master plan by County and City Commissions. Bike Route System Connectivity  Project PDF Overview This project was developed in coordination with local novice and advanced cyclists alike.  It utilizes both on and off-road routes to provide safe cycling connections between homes, businesses, and schools.  It is also closely integrated with the Greenways Master Plan to provide connectivity between the various greenways and parks.  The system will be supported by online mapping applications to make planning a bicycle trip even easier. N Creates a safe and attractive bicycle system to make cycling more desirable as an alternative to driving. N Links various areas of the community via signed routes and bicycle boulevards.
